Delegation from Isfahan University of Technology Visited University of Sulaimani

An official delegation from Isfahan University of Technology (IUT) headed by the University President visited university of Sulaimani on Monday September 7, 2015 to discuss implementation of the cooperation agreement signed between both universities.

IUT delegates were received Dr. Salahalddin Saeed Ali, President of University of Sulaimani, Dr. Khasraw A.Rashid, Vice President for Scientific Affairs and Post Graduate Studies, Dr Arass F. Zainal, Vice President for Students Affairs and other members of the University of Sulaimani Council including the Deans of the Faculties, Schools & Colleges as well as Dr Karzan G. Khidhir, Director of International Academic Relations.

IUT delegates were Dr. Sayed Mahmoud Modares Hashemi, IUT President, Dr. Seyed Mehdi Abtahi, Vice President for Research Affairs, Prof. Nasrollah Mahboobi Soofiani, Director for International & Scientific Cooperation Office, Prof. Farshid Noorbakhsh, Director for Graduate Studies, Prof. Hossein Saidi, Head of Dept. of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Dr. Moahmmad Zarrehbini Esfahani, Head of Dept. of Textile Engineering, Prof. Ahmad Moheb, Head of Dept. of Chemical Engineering, Dr. Hosseing Moradi, Academic Member of Natural Resources Department, Prof. Aghafakhr Mirlohi Falavarjani, Vice President for Research Affairs, College of Agriculture, Dr. Amir Abdolmaleki, Vice President for Research Affairs, Dept. of Chemistry and Mr. Ebrahim Ghenaati, Academic member of College of Agriculture.

University of Sulaimani officials and IUT delegated held a meeting to discuss the steps of implementing the signed agreement between both universities. Both University of Sulaimani and Isfahan University of Technology stressed on establishing long term academic relations including joint Postgraduate studies.

After the meeting, the IUT delegates were taken for a tour of the university campus and research laboratories of School of Sciences, Faculty of Engineering and Faculty of Agricultural Sciences.
